Located near the delightful village of Peyrat-le-Chateau and just 2 Kms from the magnificent Lac de Vassiviere ‘Les Bordes’ is the ideal base for a holiday or for a longer stay whilst exploring the region. The three departments which make up the Limousin (Haute Vienne, Creuse and Correze) come together here where the land starts to rise as you go eastwards towards the Massif Central .A detached bungalow set in its own 4-acre plot in a hamlet, with a sunny south-west facing terrace and patio, barbecue and parking for three cars. The nearest village is Peyrat-le-Chateau (3 kms) and the house is 45 minutes from the A20. Limoges Airport with daily flights by Ryanair is an hour away. Within 10 kms are river and lake coarse fishing and river fly-fishing. The house is only 2 kms from the extensive Vassiviere lake with its sandy beaches , water sports, boat hire, lake cruises and safe supervised swimming (in high season). On the island in Vassiviere lake are a national contemporary art gallery open all year, sculpture trails and woodland walks. Restaurants are 2 or 3 kms away in 2 directions. The nearest food shops are 3 kms away in Peyrat-le-Chateau and the nearest large supermarket 20 minutes away in the attractive historic market town of Eymoutiers.

The bungalow sleeps 4 to 6, with an open-plan living and dining-room, new fully-fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave oven and fridge-freezer, bathroom (shower only) with washing machine and separate WC. There are two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has one double and one folding bed. Bedroom 2 has one double bed and one single bed. There is a sofa bed in the living room. Electric radiators are fitted throughout plus a wood-burning stove. There is satellite TV with all free-to-air British channels (including BBC1 – 4), VCR and DVD player. |

We regret that because there is natural open water on the site, children under eight years old cannot be accommodated. |

| Surrounding attractions, all within 15 kms, include cycle hire, VTT trails (plus on-site VTT practice track), quad hire, mini-golf, adventure park, swimming pool, pony-trekking, tennis, and all water-sports. |

The location of the Bungalow is 30 mins south of Bourganeuf approximately 55 mins drive from the A20 (which is the main route through from Paris to Toulouse). |
