Set in the Correzian countryside, at the end of a quiet little lane sits our lovely cottage. Ideal for a peaceful holiday where children can run wild in the large garden far from busy roads.
Situated at five minutes from the beautiful town of Uzerche, where you will find all you need in the way of estate agents , banks, restaurants and supermarkets.
In the hotter months fishing and canoeing are very well catered for on the river Vezere, and if you need to cool off an open air swimming pool can be found at a five minute drive.

The house is set next door to woodland and evenings can be spent taking a walk through the trees down to the stream or simply sat in the shade with an “aperatif” listening to the crickets.
Peace and quiet is almost guaranteed; only broken by the odd “bonjour” from our chickens nextdoor.
There are three bedrooms, with the possibility of sleeping two more on a sofa bed. Downstairs you will find a fitted kitchen with microwave,electric oven, fridge and a washing machine.
There is one double bedroom on ground level that would be suitable for someone who has trouble with stairs.The bathroom has a shower and there is a separate toilet.

The lounge/ dining room is very spacious and is equipped with a television and a dvd player. Garden furniture is provided so you can eat in or out; and if you fancy a BBQ there will be one on hand.
Upstairs are two more bedrooms; one with twin beds and a balcony which gives a great view of the garden.The other has a double bed and a single and eqally has a small balcony.

The area around is known for its lakes such as Vigeois which caters for fishermen and bathers.
The house is very well situated as we are only 30 minutes from Closer to home you will find Pompadour and Segur le Chateau which deserve a visit.

How Do I get there? |
|
The cottage is about 45 minutes drive from Limoges airport where you can easily hire a car. From England you reach Limoges from Stansted, Liverpool or Southampton.
