Situated at the edge of the pretty village of St. Junien Les Combes, near Bellac in the Haute-Vienne, this charming, recently renovated 5 bedroomed house offers a tranquil haven amid the rolling Limousin countryside.

This delightful holiday home is equipped with all modern facilities, yet maintains its traditional feel with its exposed stonework and timbers.

Country lovers will adore this 18th Century farmhouse with its traditional stonework and oak-beams throughout. Set in two and a half acres with mature lime, sycamore and oak trees and an inviting Swimming Pool. It is perfect.

Your hosts, Chris and Mary Rose are an English couple who came to live in France in 2002 and have been busy restoring and renovating their lovely home. They are an enthusiastic and well-travelled couple, who delight in company and will make you very welcome.
Frachis Farmhouse is conveniently situated within easy reach of a number of recreational sites and only 5 minutes drive from the local market town of Bellac and 35 minutes from Limoges Airport.


 

The accommodation consists of, on the ground floor, porch entrance, with Annex to side, consisting of 1 double bedroom, with adjoining twin bedroom and large bathroom, with bath and shower. This annex has its own entrance.

To the right of the porch entrance is the open- planned dining room, and fully fitted kitchen, including electric/gas oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker. Glazed door to back garden 

Large lounge with Satellite TV, video recorder and wood burning fire. Utility room, with freezer and washing machine.

Cloakroom, with toilet and washbasin.


 

Stairs, leading up to 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin with toilet and washbasin. Large bathroom, with bath and shower.

A Library is situated on the second floor

 

 

There is private parking, a terrace in the back garden, portable barbecue, boules court and sun loungers, tables and chairs, with parasols.

The lawn leads down to the woods and stream beyond.

In the main garden you will also find a salt water Swimming Pool - 10m x 5 m

Parking is in the drive. Every effort has been made to make your stay comfortable but if we have forgotten anything, please do not hesitate to tell us.

 

 

 

How Do I get there? 


The location of the Farmhouse is approximately 25 mins drive from the A20 (which is  the main route through from Paris to Toulouse).
By air there are now direct flights from Stansted Airport, London to Limoges, being operated by Ryanairlines,
and there is car hire available at the airport.  Limoges Airport is approximately 35 minutes drive.
