Includes a new swimming pool. The owner is an English flying instructor and horse riding instructor. Sport horse breeding stud on premises. Ponies and horses available for lessons or trekking.
At La Chataigneraie we breed sports horses, currently there are 6 thoroughbred horses grazing here which are available for riding

There is a 10m by 4m swimming pool and over 5 Hectares of private land which is available to anyone staying at the farmhouse or the gîte.

The countryside in the area has many wonderful rides and trails in the forests where you may be lucky enough to see some of the numerous deer, wild boar and the abundance of birds of prey.

The grounds are set in the National park in 12 acres of private grounds in beautiful unspoilt countyside.

The house is easy to find, 5 minutes drive from the Limoges - Perigueux route (N21).

25 minute drive south of Limoges on the edge of the Gorre village, 10 minutes drive from the Dordogne and situated in the Limousin - Perigueux National Park.

By air 25 minutes drive from Limoges airport (direct flights from Stanstead and Liverpool with Ryanair and Southampton with flybe).
and there is car hire available at the airport.
