Anzeme is a small village situated approximately 15kms from the N145 (A20 junction 23 Paris-Limoges motorway) and is in the area of the 3 "Grand Lacs" one of which is approximately 1000 metres away, where you will be able to fish or let the children play.

In the town you will find 2 x bar/restaurants, a baker shop and a grocer shop. This is the ideal setting for families and friends looking for tranquillity, comfort, friendly neighbours and lots of local activities.

This beautifully restored gite has a Gite de France rating of 4 epis, and has been renovated to a very high standard and is situated in the friendly village of Anzeme. The rear garden extends to just over 1000 sq. metres and has far reaching views over the surrounding countryside. Outside there is ample garden furniture, BBQ and a covered terrace.

The swimming pool is heated from 1st May to 30th September and is situated just outside the property under cover on the 64 sq.mt. terrace. The area surrounding the pool is decked for comfort and there are loungers for relaxing.

There is off street parking on the property.

Within a short drive you have a choice of 3 "Grand Lacs" all with a variety of sandy beaches, slides, water sports, cafes etc. geared to offer everything for the tourist. Horse-riding is 15km, golf 20kms. The whole area is one of rural charm with an abundance of mediaeval villages and small towns. Gueret, the Capital of La Creuse is just 15kms away, where you will find an excellent supply of good restaurants at reasonable rates.

To the right is the kitchen/dining room which is tastefully equipped with top quality appliances. You will find a ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, and microwave, a table and adequate seating.

There is a washing machine and tumble dryer situated in the Laundry room on the ground floor.

The bathroom is situated on the ground floor and consists of a corner bath, twin wash hand basins, and separate toilet.

There are 2 open staircases, the left leading to a double bedroom and the right leading to 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedded room (the beds can be put together to make another double), all furnished to a very high standard.

How Do I get there?

The location of the Gite is 45km (45 mins) drive from the A20 (which is the main route through from Paris to Toulouse).
You will need to exit at Junction 23.

By air there are now direct flights from Stansted, Liverpool, East Midlands to Limoges, being operated by Ryanairlines and Southampton by Flybe,
and there is car hire available at the airport. Poitiers is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes drive away, and Limoges is the same.

Please supply all your own towels, and tea towels.

Bed Linen can be hired for 7 euros per 2 persons

If you require to have the gite cleaned at the end of the visit a cleaning charge of 50 euros will be made - payable by cash.

Electric is included up to 8kw of usage per day after which any extra will be charged at 12 centimes per kw - this has to be paid by cash before leaving.
