Of course a visit to Limoges is essential.  The capital of the Limousin region and famous
for its fine and unique porcelain and enamel.

Water sport enthusiasts will find all they need in the well-equipped beached lakes – like the 99 hectare Lac de Bariousses, only 5 minutes from the Gite,  and Lac de Vassiviere only 40 minutes - to utilize their energy, walking, hiking or cycling, or just relax.  Many lakes being ideal locations for fishing as are the lovely rivers in the area.

 The accommodation is self-contained and consists of, on entry,  the lounge with French TV , settee and  patio doors leading onto the patio area,  kitchen area with free standing gas cooker, fridge and microwave, table and chairs for 2.  Upstairs (which are a bit on the steep side and open treaded) there is a twin bedroom with separate shower room, with cubicle, toilet, and wash hand basin.  

Outside you will find a patio area with garden furniture for you to enjoy al fresco meals in the sunshine whilst tasting the delicious french wines.
 

The Gite is ideally situated a short walk from the town centre of Treignac, a Ville Fleurie, where you will find all necessary amenities like restaurants, bars, banks, chemists, bakers, etc. 

How Do I get there?

The location of the Gite is 1hr 15 mins drive from Limoges Airport.

By air there are now direct flights from Stansted, Liverool and East Midlands to Limoges, being operated by Ryanairlines and also Southampton to Limoges being operated by Flybe, and there is car hire available at the airport.
