Within easy reach of the A 20 motorway, the main link route from Paris to
Toulouse, the south of France and Spain, the Monedieres is an area of
stunning extremes, beautiful rolling countryside surrounded by heavily
forested hills. The whole area is steeped in history and has innumerable
charming villages and towns, each with its own individual character. It is
an hour south of Limoges, which has good airport links with Stansted,
Liverpool and Southampton, and is renowned for its very fine porcelain, and
within easy reach of Pompadour, home of the National Haras, with many
equestrian events and galas throughout the year.
 

How Do I get there?  

Chaillac is located approximately 1 hour from Limoges, 2 hours from Bergerac – both with good flights from the UK. 35mins from A20 or A89 Autoroutes.  A day’s drive from the ferry ports and tunnel.  Hire cars are available at the airports.
