Nestled into the tranquil landscape is a holiday cottage offering holiday accommodation for up to four people, in the hamlet of Pellevoisin, with it's undulating views of the wonderful countryside of Limousin. If you are looking for a relaxing laid-back break or a more energetic holiday, the cottage is the perfect hide-away from which to explore this beautiful and relatively undiscovered part of France. |

The accommodation comprises on the ground floor of open plan kitchen/diner with lounge area opening onto rear courtyard and access to private garden. The kitchen has a free standing gas cooker, fridge and washing machine, table and 4 chairs and is equipped for up to 4 people. The lounge has 2 sofas and music system and the property is fully centrally heated plus a wood burning stove. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom plus bathroom (with overhead shower), wash hand basin and w.c.

Outside there is a small private courtyard area with seating and barbeque situated to make the most of daylong sunshine (sunshine not guaranteed, of course - but we'll put in a request!!) plus private gardens to rear mainly laid to lawn. The property is set in the grounds of an organic farm of over an acre which includes a small organic garden, and produce can be available to guests depending on the season. Free range chickens roam the grounds and eggs (depending on availability) can also be available.

Only 2 minutes drive from the cottage is the Town of Mainsat where you will find 2 boulangers, a butcher, a pharmacy, garage/petrol station, small grocers shop, post office, restaurant and bar, plus a pizza takeaway (only open in the summer months). The nearest supermarket is Auzances which is 15 mins drive and which also has a weekly market every Tuesday. The nearest swimming lake is La Nautes which is typical of many such lakes in this area - where you will find a small well kept beach from which to swim in safety under the watchful gaze of a lifeguard (times of cover posted at the beach) and there is a childrens park area. Evaux les Bains (20 mins drive) is famous for its Thermal Spa Centre and also has an indoor pool, shops, choice of restaurants and a Casino - well worth a visit!!

ONE DAY DRAWING & PAINTING COURSES - are available during the summer of 2008 from 40 euros per person with lunch included
ONE WEEK DRAWING & PAINTING COURSES - are available w/c 29th June 2008 or w/c 27th July 2008 - 595 euros per person(accommodation in cottage, classes, materials and all meals included)
HIRE OF ART STUDIO AVAIALABLE: 35 EUROS WEEK (for people renting the cottage on a self-catering basis)
