The Le Petit Lac is a 5 minute walk from the town centre of Bourganeuf for all bars, restaurants, 4 estate agents (English speaking) and local square with shops but we are surrounded by countryside to give a feel of seclusion. The Limousin region offers lush green countryside with many lakes, forests and rivers. Ideal for the keen walker or fisherman but also appealing to someone who wants complete relaxation in an unspoilt part of France. Limoges is a 45 minutes drive from Le Petit Lac and offers all the shopping and restaurants expected from a city. Also don’t forget to pick up the famous Limoges pottery Bourganeuf is a medieval town and has a traditional French market weekly for all your local produce including vegetables, meat & cheeses. There are also English speaking estate agents for those tempted to buy in this beautiful region. You can play a round of golf on the 9 hole golf course in Bourganeuf or take a look at the Electricity museum, conveniently situated next door to the Petit Lac (Bourganeuf was one of the first towns in France to have electricity)

The accommodation consists of an appartment situated on the first floor of this large property. It has its own private entrance, 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles and 1 twin, and is centrally heated for all year round availability. There is a family bathroom with bath, shower, wash hand basin and toilet. |

The kitchen/Diner is equipped with all the necessary items for self catering including a six place pine table and chairs, full sized fridge/freezer, oven with grill and hob, microwave and washing machine. There is a TV with english free view channels and a DVD player in lounge with comfortable seating for six. |

Outside you will find the shared swimming pool with seating area and sun loungers. A barbecue is supplied for outdoor dining, in a beautiful setting. The Lake is offers a quiet place to sit and read or relax. |

The Creuse is one of the least populated departments in France. It is renowned for its peaceful, unspoilt countryside, dramatic landscapes and breathtaking views and lots of water, everywhere. Also throughout the Creuse region there are numerous small towns and villages each with it’s own character with bars and cafes where you can sit and watch the world go by. The landscape has been celebrated by artists such as Monet and Renoir and has parts known as George Sand country (after the author) |
