We offer for rental a recently renovated house in an idyllic setting, located at the end of a country lane. The house, which will comfortably sleep six people in three bedrooms has been has been renovated and furnished to a high standard using a combination of French and contemporary furniture.

It is situated only 15 minutes drive from Lupersat and equally close to the small market town of Auzances in the Creuse (23) and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Nearby, there are a number of lakes for both fishing and swimming and a wide selection of other outdoor pursuits are also available. The location is close to Aubusson, the historic centre of French tapestry manufacturing and is also only 45 minutes drive from the city of Clermont Ferrand .

  • Large airy room with French windows to both the front and rear of the house.  

  • Oak dining table and six chairs, sofa and wood burning stove. 

  • Other items provided  

  • Iron and ironing board

  • Vacuum cleaner

  • Solid fuel cooking range in kitchen
  • Electric wall heaters in upstairs rooms

  • House is set in half acre of garden surrounded by mature trees and open countryside.  
  • Terraces are located at both the front and rear of the property  
  • Sun loungers, tables, chairs, a teak bench and a large umbrella are all provided  
  • BBQ (charcoal)

     

   

 

   

Linen  

  • Bed linen is provided and included in the rental price  
  • Towels however are not provided  
  • Bed linen will be changed once a week  

Cleaning  

  • The property will be cleaned on changeover day  

    Local Shopping and facilities  

    • Lupersat village is 5 minutes drive from the house where there are two boulangeries, a bar and a small farmers market every Sunday morning  
    • Auzances town is 20 minutes drive away, where there are banks, a supermarket, petrol station, post office, butchers, hairdressers and a market every Tuesday

       

     

How Do I get there? 

The location of the house is 75km drive from the A71, you will need to exit at junction10 heading for Montlucon. Then take the N145 towards Gouzon, then the D997 direction Aubusson.  There are  flights to Limoges  from Standsted, Southampton, East Midlands and Liverpool.  Limoges airport is just 1 hour 15 minutes away.
