Set in a quiet rural area with its spectacular views in the beautiful Limousin region it has peace and tranquillity! interrupted only by the odd buzzard over head calling to it's mate or the swallow's with their wheeling high above catching flies. Lizards can be seen sunning themselves on the natural stone walls and grassy banks with orchids and other wild flowers made for the butterflies. As you walk down the lanes golden brown Limousine cattle greet you at field gateways. The sunsets can be rather spectacular, just before the bats start on their nightly sorties for moths and other flying insects. On clear nights star gazing can be very interesting as there is little or no light pollution. |

The house is set in the middle of the small hamlet of La Villetelle, with very little passing traffic - and very tranquil. |

The house is nicely decorated in French country style with real oak beams and a traditional oak staircase. The kitchen is small but it has all the modern conveniences like a new fridge, gas oven, microwave and newly installed hotte (ceramic hob) and a dining/sitting room with wood burning stove inset into the chimney. There are electric heaters in the bedrooms for out of season letting. There is a cassette/CD player but no television |

There are two little bathrooms with a toilet in each bathroom. The bathroom downstairs has a shower operating on a new and fully automatic gas heater. there are 3 bedrooms altogether, one on the first floor (some 25m2) with a lovely view over the garden towards the river Tarde, and 2 bedrooms on the second floor. |
